Desjardins Creative provides independent contract web site design, development, marketing, management and maintenance services.

We are committed to providing the best service and solutions for our clients and are well known for exceeding customer expectations. A variable deposit (33-50% of the projects budget) is required for the project to be scheduled.

Clients are free to cancel services at any time during the process but will be subject to our cancellation policy as indicated below.

scheduling

We encourage clients to contact us as early as possible about a potential project. The more advance notice we have the better prepared we can be for the planning phase and the better chance of delivering within the requested time frame. Included in each project proposal is an estimated starting and completion time frame each with a 10% estimate range. Delivery dates are given only after the design is approved.

Factors that help keep projects on schedule:

• good preparation and planning
• assets are complete and ready
• no additions to project scope (see below)
• timely project reviews
• consolidated feedback
• constant, consistent email communication
  

rescheduling & changes beyond scope

We strongly encourage clients not to make changes to the project once the contract has been signed, and the development process begins.

• rescheduling at the clients request: the project is postponed, and balance of project is due.
• changes beyond scope: for any changes or additions (other than content), the project will be re quoted, and rescheduled to reflect the changes.

billing

All projects require a deposit of 33 to 50% of the budget, based on the size of the project. Projects over 10K will have a milestone payment of 25%-33% due when databases go live. Balance is due upon delivery. Each project proposal includes a cost estimate with a 10% cost range as the actual cost it takes to complete a project can vary.

project cancellation policy

All sales are final and non-refundable. Any unpaid services rendered prior to project cancellation will be billed on a time and materials basis at current hourly rates.

Our rates reflect the experience and level of professionalism that are required to produce quality custom work and provide a dependable level of customer service. They fall between those of independent freelancers and traditional agencies.
